 A few friends of Globaleye participated in the recently concluded Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon.Read on to find out what prompted three intrepid Dubai residents to get up at the break of dawn on a Friday and run a 10km marathon! The annual Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon took place on the 22nd of January starting at 6.45am,. The track goes up and down the Jumeirah Beach Road passing right by the Globaleye headquarters. Manoj Khimji of SAB Media and his friends proudly wore their Globaleye shirts during the event and in return, Globaleye supported a charity close to Manoj's heart. The Magic Bus is a charity based in India which provides under-privileged and impoverished children all over India with activity-based learning opportunities and sporting chances which they would otherwise never have access to in their lifetimes. It is a charity which deserves as much fundraising as possible to support the work of the volunteers there and to help the programme grow from 3,500 children to even more in the future. if you would like to chip in and help Manoj reach (or indeed exceed!) his target of GBP650, you may do so here .
